David is a Senior Partner practising in the areas of wills & estates, property and business matters. He holds Law Institute Accreditation as a Specialist in wills & estates, and is a past Chairman of the Probate, Wills & Administration Committee of The Law Institute.

David was admitted in Melbourne in 1968. For 27 years he was a partner in a large Melbourne law firm. In 1997, together with Murray Chessell, he established Chessell Williams to support the substantial following of business and private clients established over many years.
