Dorothy obtained her Bachelor of Laws at the University of Adelaide and joined Hicks & Oakley in 1991 after practising in England, Adelaide and Melbourne for many years.  She is an Accredited Specialist in family law with special expertise in:

• counselling & mediation
• de facto rights
• guardianship & residency applications
• property settlements
• children’s matters – residency & contact
• divorce

Dorothy is a member of  the family law section of the Law Institute of Victoria and gives advice at the Citizens Advice Bureau in Mount Waverley.

Dorothy's outside interests include travel, trekking, bushwalking and orienteering in which she competes locally and internationally.
