Madelaine obtained Degrees in Law and Jurisprudence from Monash University and was admitted to practice in 1981.  She has worked in London and as a Senior Associate in several large city firms in their commercial litigation divisions where she gained extensive experience in banking and securities litigation, corporate insolvency and general commercial litigation.  After several years raising a family Madelaine returned to practice in the areas of wills & estates and commercial litigation.  She joined Hicks & Oakley in 2005.

Madelaine is the author of "Debt Collection A Manual for Victoria" and serves on the Committee of Management of Wavecare Counselling Service where she pursues a committed interest in community and social issues.  Her other interests include playing tennis, bush walking and family pursuits.
