Community Support

Hicks Oakley Chessell Williams are proud supporters of many community and charitable organisations including:

Wesley College's 150th Anniversary

We are proud to be part of Wesley College's sesquicentennial celebrations.  The College is the largest coeducational school in Australia with three suburban campuses, four country campuses and a studio school in partnership with the Fitzroy Valley community in the Kimberley, W.A.

Glen Waverley Bowls Club

We are pleased to continue our long association with the Glen Waverley Bowls Club and are proud supporters of their organisation.

Vermont South Club

It is a pleasure to continue our association with the Vermont South Club by supporting their endeavours of promoting healthy and competitive sporting activities in the community.

Red Cross Wills Day

Hicks Oakley Chessell Williams assist the Red Cross with their Wills Days.  This is where the Red Cross' National Solicitor Network offers a reduced charge to prepare a simple Will. Please note, if your Will has detailed provisions that cause complex planning, there may be additional costs in preparing your Will.  For enquiries about the Red Cross Wills Days please contact the Red Cross on 1800 811 700

The Salvation Army Community Wills Day

We are also proud to offer our time to the Salvation Army's Community Wills Days.  Community members may have a simple Will prepared or updated for a reduced fee.  Proceeds support the local work of the Salvation Army.  For enquiries about Community Wills Days please contact the Salvation Army on 1800 337 082.

Queen's College Graduate Law Scholarship

Our firm has this year provided a scholarship to a post-graduate resident of Queen's College to study law at the graduate level at the University of Melbourne.

Hicks Oakley Chessell Williams has a strong connection with Queen's College.  John Hicks, Tony Oakley, Matthew Hicks and Lachlan Vallance all attended the College and have maintained strong links with the College.  We also have had other alumni with us from time to time as solicitors and seasonal clerks.
