Natalie Talia
Senior Associate | Wills & Estates Lawyer

Natalie Talia

Natalie has practised in a variety of areas of legal practice since 2010.

She worked at a top-tier firm in Commercial Litigation and Insolvency practice for a number of years, gaining experience from the Magistrate’s Court to the High Court.

Natalie was the Senior Associate to the Honourable Justice Robson and, having gained experience in that role in the Commercial Court, Natalie was given the opportunity to serve in the inaugural role of the Lawyer assisting the Trusts, Equity and Probate list of the Supreme Court of Victoria.  So valuable and enjoyable was that experience that Natalie now practises predominantly in the area of estate administration and litigation.

Natalie has an interest in elder law, and in the care of the elderly in general, having worked in diversional therapy in an aged care facility as a student.   That interest has recently lead to work in VCAT administration.

Natalie started work with Hicks Oakley Chessell Williams in 2019 and has this year been named in the Doyles Guide as a '2020 Rising Star for Wills, Estates and Succession Planning'.  She is one of only 13 Rising Stars selected across Australia for this category.

About Natalie

Natalie has two small children to keep her busy outside of work.  Although far from being expert, Natalie practices yoga when possible to keep energetic and bring a fresh mind to the rigours of an enjoyable and challenging practice.
