Lachlan is a valued member of the wills and estates team and deals with all matters in a timely and sensitive manner with the utmost discretion.
He provides advice on all estate planning matters, from drawing simple wills to more complex testamentary trusts, powers of attorney (medical, financial &/or personal), inheritances and superannuation issues.
Lachlan also deals with deceased estate administration and obtaining grants of representation (probate/letters of administration), and can provide advice on challenges to wills and claims against estates. He has the practical understanding of the legal and taxation issues required to deal with all wills and estates matters.
Lachlan joined the team at Hicks Oakley Chessell Williams over seven years ago. He was appointed as an Articled Clerk with the firm in 2008 and admitted to practise as a lawyer in March 2009. He was appointed as a Principal in 2015.
He works predominately in the area of wills and estates and is a Law Institute of Victoria Accredited Specialist in Wills & Estates.
Lachlan's interests include travel, playing football and tennis, running and working on the family farm on the weekends.
