Marissa is the Practice Manager at Hicks Oakley Chessell Williams (HOCW), overseeing the firm’s day-to-day operations and supporting its commitment to efficient, high-quality client service.

Working closely with the Chief Executive Officer, Marissa supports the coordination and delivery of the firm’s operational priorities. She brings strong organisational capability and experience in coordinating the practical requirements of a busy legal practice, helping to maintain effective internal processes, clear communication and reliable administrative systems across the business.

Marissa works collaboratively with the firm’s lawyers and support teams to help ensure practice workflows operate efficiently and clients receive a professional, responsive experience. Her role includes supporting office operations, administrative processes and the coordination of internal matters, while assisting to direct enquiries to the appropriate person within the team.

Known for her reliability, attention to detail and calm, solutions-focused approach, Marissa contributes to the smooth running of the firm and supports its high standards of service. She understands the importance of well-managed processes, responsive communication and a professional environment for both clients and staff.

As a member of the Australasian Legal Practice Management Association (ALPMA), Marissa remains connected to legal-practice-management knowledge, professional development and industry networks. ALPMA is a professional association representing managers and lawyers with legal-practice-management responsibilities.
