About Nicole

Nicole has been with Hicks Oakley Chessell Williams for over 45 years and was Executive Assistant to founding Director Tony Oakley from 1974 until his retirement in 2021. As Office Manager, she is responsible for the day‑to‑day running of the office, including staff training, office equipment and implementing and maintaining office procedures.

Over her long tenure, Nicole has developed a deep knowledge of the firm and its practice areas, particularly commercial law and intellectual property. She has been trained by IP Australia in trade mark searching and has extensive experience supporting legal teams in delivering efficient, well‑organised client service.
