Tanya Menon
Expertise
Tanya is a commercial litigation and insolvency lawyer who was admitted to practice in June 2023. She acts in commercial litigation, insolvency, debt recovery and employment law matters, and draws on her prior experience as a paralegal at Hicks Oakley Chessell Williams, where she focused on owners corporation debt recovery and assisted in broader commercial disputes.
Before studying law, Tanya worked in accounting and finance for around ten years in roles across aged care, family services, consulting and banking. She also gained experience as a legal assistant in family and personal injury practices. This background gives her over 15 years of corporate and legal experience, which she uses to navigate complex matters and deliver practical, commercially focused outcomes for clients. Tanya takes pride in building warm, approachable relationships with clients and colleagues.

Tanya is a qualified yoga and meditation teacher and runs weekly classes for Monash City Council. In her spare time, she enjoys exploring Melbourne with friends and is always keen to try a new burger spot.
