Andrew has been practising in family law since 2015 and joined Hicks Oakley Chessell Williams in 2021. He enjoys the challenge of guiding clients through both the emotional and legal rigours of separation and what their lives will entail thereafter.
Andrew has acted in matters involving family violence intervention orders in the Magistrates' Court of Victoria and applications for divorce and disputes as to both parenting arrangements for children and alteration of interests in property in the Federal Circuit and Family Courts of Australia.
His experience in parenting matters includes high-conflict parents and cases of children at risk. His experience in property matters includes division of asset pools involving businesses and trusts and histories of significant windfall contributions, setting aside and enforcing financial agreements and spousal maintenance.
Outside office hours Andrew enjoys football (soccer), film and television and travelling. He has been a member of the Melbourne Victory Football Club since its maiden season in 2005 and studied on exchange twice during University in Tours and Lyon, France.
