Jade Tillekeratne

Jade Tillekeratne is a paralegal in our Wills & Estates team, providing support with VCAT administration, client communication, and document preparation. Jade joined Hicks Oakley Chessell Williams in 2023 and has since progressed through several roles across the firm, including receptionist and legal assistant in the Family Law team, before moving into her current paralegal position in 2024.

With a calm, methodical approach and strong administrative background, Jade is known for her patience, attention to detail, and commitment to delivering high-quality support to clients during sensitive and often complex matters.

Jade is currently completing a combined Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Commerce (majoring in Accounting) at Deakin University, and is expected to graduate in 2026. She was a semi-finalist in the Deakin Law School Junior Moot Competition in 2022, reflecting her enthusiasm for advocacy and legal analysis.

Jade is passionate about gaining experience across different areas of law and looks forward to building her career in the legal profession.
